There are a LOT of free ebooks out there, you can check them out from your library using Adobe Digital Editions, and Baen has a free library. If you use Calibre, then you an also download new sites automatically and convert various file types to your own ebook.

Bob Beckel Says US had a Semi-automatic Weapon Ban?

I don't remember this. Once again, is someone misunderstanding the difference between auto and semi-auto? How can you be a pundit when you don't understand a basic function of your subject? And fully automatic weapons aren't banned, just more difficult and expensive to get. But we knew that.

Sigh.

Magpul FMG-9 Video

"The Magpul FMG-9 is a prototype for a new generation of folding submachine guns, designed by Magpul Industries in 2008. Like other folding machine guns, it would be used for concealed carry and can be disguised as anything from a small package to an extra laptop battery. It is made out of a light-weight polymer material rather than metal, making it very light and easy to carry. It is also small enough even to fit in your back pocket. It was developed for potential use by personal protection details such as the United States Secret Service. It is still a prototype and may or may not be made in large numbers for law enforcement agencies. The prototype uses glock pistol firing mechanisms, specifically the 9mm Glock 17 pistol. It could be factory modified to fit a Glock 18 machine pistol for Class-3 or law enforcement use."

A folding subgun. This would be great for concealed carry. And if you drop it, it's 'Oops, I dropped my 'case' not 'Oops, I dropped my GUN.' Causes much fewer looks in the supermarket. I know, I know, that shouldn't ever happen, but you know it does from time to time. That's just odds and probabilities. (And I've never seen it in the news.)

Looks like a neat piece of work. I predict priciness though, if they ever make it. Semi-auto version, please.

Neat: Looks like more people are interested in Concealed Carry

If you go to Google Trends, and enter 'concealed carry permit', it looks like people are becoming more interested in that over the last few years.



A neat tool to see what people are interested in. I put in a few gun terms (AK-47, AR-15, Beretta) and they were pretty flat, but it looks like 'assault rifle' has increased in popularity.


And of course, everyone's favorite 'cheap ammo'. Yup, it's just not you that's looking.
